Claims and deadlines
Louisiana's Unclaimed $1 Million Powerball Ticket Expires Oct. 26
The ticket was sold at a Circle K in Baton Rouge for the April 29 drawing.
A Louisiana Powerball ticket worth $1 million is about to expire unclaimed. The ticket was bought at Circle K #9729 in Baton Rouge for the April 29, 2026 drawing, and the Louisiana Lottery lists its deadline as Oct. 26, 2026.
A second deadline this week
An Easy 5 ticket worth $50,000, sold at S Mart #1 in Rayville for the April 25 drawing, expires even sooner, on Oct. 22.
What happens if nobody claims them
Louisiana draw-game prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. Once a deadline passes, the prize is forfeited.
What this means for players
If you bought a Powerball ticket in Baton Rouge in late April, or an Easy 5 ticket in Rayville, check it now. Tickets can be checked at any Louisiana Lottery retailer, and a prize of this size is claimed with the lottery directly.
