Two New York lottery tickets worth $25,000 each will expire on Oct. 25, 2026 if nobody comes forward. Both are third-prize tickets from the Erie Canal Million-Dollar Raffle drawing held on Oct. 26, 2025.

One was sold at B&K Food Mart on Velasko Road in Syracuse. The other was sold at Crosby's on East Lake Road in Mayville.

One year to claim

New York gives draw-game winners one year from the drawing date to claim. For these two tickets, that year ends on Sunday, Oct. 25.

What this means for players

If you bought an Erie Canal raffle ticket last fall, check it before the weekend. You can scan the barcode with the official NY Lottery app or at any retailer. If it is a winner, contact the New York Lottery before the deadline to arrange the claim.
