The Mega Millions jackpot won in Florida this summer has been claimed. The winning ticket, a Quick Pick, was the only one to match all six numbers in the July 28, 2026 drawing.

It was sold at Wawa #5185 at 14510 State Road 70 East in Bradenton. According to the Florida Lottery's jackpot records, the winner chose the cash option and was paid $345,524,955 before taxes. The advertised jackpot for that drawing was $800 million.

Why the winner's name is not listed

The Florida Lottery's record lists the winner as exempt from disclosure under Florida Statute 24.1051. Florida law keeps the identity of winners of large prizes confidential for a limited period after the claim.

What this means for players

Florida Mega Millions prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing, and a jackpot winner who wants the cash option must claim within the first 60 days. The current Mega Millions jackpot run started after this win.
