A Houston resident has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize from the drawing held on Sept. 30, 2026. The Quick Pick ticket matched all five white balls, 4, 6, 23, 33 and 44, but not the Powerball, which was 13.

The ticket was sold at Oncar Investment Inc., 9004 N. Freeway, in Houston, according to the Texas Lottery. The winner chose to remain anonymous.

What this means for players

Matching five white balls without the Powerball wins the $1 million second prize. With Power Play, that prize is always $2 million.

Texas allows 180 days from the drawing to claim draw-game prizes. In Texas, Powerball drawings air Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. Central.
