New Jersey Mega Millions Ticket Wins $2 Million in Bayville
The ticket matched all five white balls, and the built-in multiplier doubled the prize.

A Mega Millions player in Ocean County, New Jersey, won $2 million in the drawing on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026. The ticket matched all five white balls, 26, 32, 42, 51 and 54, but not the Mega Ball, 22.
Matching five white balls is normally worth $1 million. Every Mega Millions ticket now carries a built-in multiplier, and this one was 2X, which doubled the prize. The ticket was sold at Country Food Market, 941 Route 9, in Bayville, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
What this means for players
Since Mega Millions moved to a $5 ticket with a built-in multiplier, a five-number match can pay from $2 million up to $10 million, depending on the multiplier printed on the ticket. Check the multiplier on your ticket, not just the numbers.
