New Jersey Lottery players can now claim prizes between $600 and $10,000 directly through their mobile phones. This latest update, announced on October 30, 2025, brings a major convenience upgrade for players across the state. The lottery officials said they want to make claiming similar to how people already deposit checks using their mobile banking apps.
When a player scans their ticket inside the official NJ Lottery App, they will see the "Mobile Claim" option automatically whenever the winning amount falls between $600 and $10,000. The app will then guide the player step-by-step in submitting the claim digitally and receiving the payout.
If someone does not want to use the mobile option, they can claim in multiple traditional ways:

They can drop off tickets and claim forms in person at the Lawrence Park Complex office (secure drop box available).
For jackpot prizes and secondary prizes $20,000 or above, players must call ahead and schedule an appointment.
