How long do winners have to redeem or claim their winning tickets?

All draw game tickets will become invalid after 180 days from the draw date. Fast Play game tickets, on the other hand, have an expiration time of 180 days from the date of purchase. A ticket cannot be redeemed once it has expired. Scratcher tickets will expire after 180 days from the game ending date. Does the Arizona Lottery withhold Federal and/or State income taxes?

Yes, the Arizona Lottery will deduct certain amounts to cover for federal and state income taxes. The tax rates are not the same for resident aliens and United States citizens. There would be no tax withholding if the lottery prize is below $600.
