Bear in mind that all lottery prizes in Oregon worth $1,500 upwards will attract an 8% state tax withholding by the Oregon Lottery.

For prizes exceeding $5,000 won from Non-Video Lottery games, the Oregon Lottery shall withhold 24% federal tax and 8% state tax.
