Lost Ticket Policy

In New Mexico, a lottery ticket is a bearer instrument, which means:
  • Whoever holds the ticket is considered the owner, so if you lose it, the lottery cannot replace or verify a winner without the original ticket.

  • If lost, no prize will be paid, even if the player has a photo or receipt. The physical ticket is required to claim any win.
