The following day, as he revisited the same location on his daily commute, he noticed an unusual buzz of excitement in the air. It turned out that a ticket purchased at that very store had won a whopping $1 million in the previous night's Powerball drawing.

With a curious thought in his mind, Mr. Gutierrez contemplated, "Maybe it's me."
